Process plants are ...

"... some of the largest and most sophisticated building structures ever built by mankind.
Only a select few contractors are capable of designing and constructing them"
(The Linde Group)

We support plant construction and mechanical engineering companies in the development of a modular and semi-standardized system to meet the international cost and time pressure requirements.

Today only a few companies and engineers worry about how many hours of engineering and problems a slight change (in the layout takes maybe 10 minutes) entails and adds costs to the project and on the consolidated result.

Areas which are considered by us in the modularization:
- civil engineering (foundations, buildings, cable and pipe ducts, ...)
- structural steel structure (columns, platforms, crane girders, bridges, pipes, ...)
- piping (routing, span, expandability, ...)
- automation and electrical engineering (cable routing, support structures, ...)
- de-dusting equipment (filters, piping, generally, ...)
- material handling (bunkers, conveyors, silos, ...)
- mechanical engineering (the real heart of a process plant)
- logistics (transport routes in and around the building, from the factory to the site, ...)
- environment (water treatment, sewage disposal, surface drainage, waste disposal, recycling, ...)
- impact on cost changes (transport dimensions, transportation schedule, erection problems, ...)
- storage and maintenance (as more parts as more storage space, supply of spare parts, ...)

Many people consider only the direct costs incurred by a modularization and forgot how much money indirectly is burned if the changes are not made.

We will develop with you and your staff a concept that is well accepted and will end up in the drawer.

We also create with you a realistic time schedule and a budget plan to get to a healthy level of the possibilities and costs.

Right now, in the wake of a looming recession, it is the right time to implement such projects and possibly you also take with us the step to Brazil and increase the market.

The team of CBI Consulting wishes all of you a
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
